Story Transcript:

Hr: Pod jarkim sunčevim zrakama kasne jeseni, kameni zidovi Dubrovnika sjajili su poput dragulja.
En: Under the bright rays of the late autumn sun, the stone walls of Dubrovnik shone like jewels.

En: Around the ancient walls, Luka, Ana, and Marko strolled, getting lost in the throng of tourists filling the narrow streets.

En: As they squeezed through the main street, Stradun, the sea of people became too much for Luka.

En: He felt detached, as if in another world, far from his friends.

Hr: U glavi mu se vrtjela misao: "Postoji li nešto više od ovoga površnog doživljaja?"
En: A thought swirled in his head: "Is there something more than this superficial experience?"

En: Luka yearned for something special, something that would awaken his passion for traveling.

En: While tourists snapped photos and guides energetically pointed out landmarks, Luka stopped.

Hr: "Ne mogu više," rekao je naglas, a Ana i Marko ga pogledaše s iznenađenjem.
En: "I can't do this anymore," he said out loud, and Ana and Marko looked at him with surprise.

Hr: "Zašto ne odemo zajedno na kavu? Bit će nam manje gužve tamo," predloži Ana.
En: "Why don't we go have coffee together? It will be less crowded there," suggested Ana.

Hr: No, Luka je već odlučio.
En: But Luka had already decided.

Hr: "Želim na trenutak biti sam. Vidjet ćemo se kasnije!"
En: "I want to be alone for a moment. We'll meet later!"

En: He slipped out of the group as the sounds of passersby gradually faded.

Hr: Uskoro je hodao tišom ulicom.
En: Soon he was walking down a quieter street.

En: The sound of waves crashing against the old port was like music calming him.

Hr: Dok je istraživao, skrenuo je u tihu, skrivenu ulicu.
En: As he explored, he turned into a quiet, hidden street.

Hr: Tamo je pronašao nešto neobično.
En: There he found something unusual.

Hr: Na kraju uske aleje, završavala je mala živopisna tržnica.
En: At the end of the narrow alley was a small, colorful market.

En: The first stalls were low and colorful, and the items displayed on the stands glistened in the sunlight.

En: Surrounded by vendors, a small orchestra began to play, and people gathered without hesitation.

Hr: Pridružili su im se prolaznici, mještani i ponešto radoznalih turista.
En: Passersby, locals, and a few curious tourists joined them.

En: Luka paused for a moment, absorbing the scene.

Hr: Zvuci harmonike, gitare i bubnjeva st
