Genesis 34-36 - The Revenge of Dinah and Journey Back to Bethel
Season 1
Episode 39
Published 10 months, 3 weeks ago
Description
What happens when revenge goes too far? In Genesis 34, Jacob’s sons respond to Dinah’s defilement with shocking violence, showing how anger can lead to sin as destructive as the wrong that provoked it. Yet in Genesis 35, God calls Jacob back to Bethel, reminding us of His grace and faithfulness even when His people fail. You’ll learn how God protects Jacob’s family despite their guilt, why returning to worship at Bethel was pivotal, and how the stories of Esau and his descendants reveal God’s larger plan unfolding through Israel.
