Exterminati: Subterranean Harvest - Engineered Humanity

Season 1 Episode 12

This is Part II - Of a three part series. Exterminati: The protagonists' abductions fundamentally transform their understanding of planetary advancement and survival by shattering the illusion of human supremacy and revealing humanity's true, precarious status as an engineered resource facing existential threats.

Transformation of Understanding Regarding Planetary Survival

The personal trauma of abduction drives Randem Wilson and Missy Ford to uncover three chilling truths essential for understanding their survival:

1. Humans are not the Dominant Species: The protagonists realize that humanity is not at the top of the food chain. Randem’s abduction yields a note classifying humans as "CATEGORY I Human - Harvest," leading him to the terrifying conclusion that humans are used for sustenance by the subterranean Exterminati, much like "cattle and chickens". They also learn that the Exterminati—specifically the Reptilians—harvest "bodily fluids, excretions as much as they do meat," using these substances, like Adrenochrome, as recreational intoxicants. Randem realizes that the prospect of benevolent aid "vanish[es]" because "we're on the menu"
