The term "Exterminati" refers to the civilization that dwells beneath the surface of the planet.
• Meaning: The phrase "Exterminati, sunt Infra" is Latin, translating to "Insects from below".
• Terrestrial Origin: The Exterminati are explicitly not extraterrestrial (E.T.) or from another dimension. The beings often laugh at humans for assuming they are from another planet or dimension. Instead, they originate from Earth, having been present in some form on this "sphere" for a very long time.
• Timeline: Their presence dates back over "one hundred million years", with one Mantis-like liaison claiming their species has been present for a little over "400 million years". Their culture itself is ancient, measured at over 10 million years old.
• Subterranean Move: The species moved underground entirely during an "extinction level event" that took place on Earth and Mars millions of years ago.
