Life Issues - Babies Left to Die in New Zealand

Life Issues - Babies Left to Die in New Zealand

Published 3 months, 3 weeks ago
Description

In New Zealand, troubling government data reveals that babies are surviving attempted abortions—at least once a month—yet are being left to die without medical care.

Family First New Zealand discovered 80 cases since 2020 where babies between 20- and 30-weeks’ gestation were born alive following abortions and received no life-saving treatment. Hospitals reportedly wrap these infants in blankets and hold them until they pass, unless the child is declared “wanted”.

One healthcare student described witnessing a baby gasp for two hours before dying, saying: “We wouldn’t do that to an animal.”

When a society refuses care to its most vulnerable, it loses its moral compass. These little ones deserve life, love, and a nation willing to defend them.
