Laura Owens, 35, faces 14 felony charges related to allegations she faked pregnancies and lied about them under oath. The charges involve two men in Maricopa County, Arizona. Owens appeared in court this week to answer to new charges but her attorney withdrew from the case. Now taxpayers will fund Owens defense.
