Ro: Era o seară răcoroasă de noiembrie, iar pe străzile înguste ale centrului vechi se adunaseră oameni de toate vârstele.
En: It was a cool November evening, and people of all ages had gathered on the narrow streets of the old town.
Ro: Luminile colorate zdrăngăneau la fiecare pas, iar mirosul de turtă dulce și vin fiert umplea aerul.
En: The colored lights jangled with every step, and the air was filled with the scent of gingerbread and mulled wine.
Ro: Printre ei, Ion, un bărbat de treizeci și ceva de ani, își căuta cadoul perfect.
