Story Transcript:

En: On a foggy morning, when the air was filled with the freshness of autumn, Luka and Zala stood at the beginning of a path in the Triglav National Park.

En: Luka held an old map in his hand, which was the reason for their journey.

Sl: Govorice o zakladu so ga prevzele.
En: Rumors of a treasure had captivated him.

En: Zala was skeptical, but she went with him out of friendship and a desire to protect him from dangers.

En: "Look, the path leads us into the forest," Luka said, his heart pounding with anticipation and adrenaline.

Sl: Listje je šuštalo pod njunimi nogami, mozaik oranžnih in rdečih odtenkov.
En: Leaves rustled beneath their feet, a mosaic of orange and red hues.

Sl: "Kaj pa če zaklada sploh ni?
En: "What if there is no treasure at all?"

En: Zala quietly asked as she carefully followed behind him.

En: In the park, it was colder than they had expected, and a sudden snow shower made their journey even more difficult.

Sl: Drevesa so bila stara, visoka in skrivnostna.
En: The trees were old, tall, and mysterious.

Sl: Luka pa ni bil strašljiv.
En: But Luka was not afraid.

En: He was determined to find what he was searching for.

Sl: "Moramo še naprej," je trmasto vztrajal Luka kljub vse težjim pogojem.
En: "We must keep going," Luka stubbornly insisted despite the increasingly difficult conditions.

En: Zala then remembered something when her eye caught a side path, less visible, but she recognized it from one of her previous hikes.

Sl: "To je varna pot, Luka.
En: "This is a safe path, Luka.

Sl: Sledi mi," ga je povabila.
En: Follow me," she invited him.

Sl: Čez nekaj časa sta prišla do roba globoke soteske.
En: After some time, they reached the edge of a deep gorge.

En: There, under a tree covered in snow, Luka noticed a stone marker that resembled those on the map.

Sl: Luka je začel kopati in Zala mu je pomagala.
En: Luka began to dig, and Zala helped him.

Sl: S težavo sta izkopala majhno skrinjo.
En: With difficulty, they unearthed a small chest.

Sl: Skupaj sta jo odprla.
En: Together, they opened it.

Sl: Namesto zlata je skrinja skrivala star dnevnik.
En: Instead of gold, the chest contained an old journal.

Sl: Listi so bili rumenkasti z leti, a črke berljive.
En: The pages were yellowed with age, but the writing was legible.

Sl: "To so osebne zgodbe kartografa," je Luka prebral z zanimanjem.
En: "Th
