Calgary.  New city. Old bones.  Devil’s Playground: a schoolhouse torched with every child inside. The field is empty now… except for the laughter that rises when the temperature drops.  Deane House: axe murders, a boy in the attic noose, blood that sweats through fresh paint, and a braided apparition still guarding ground that was stolen long before the foundation was poured. Lougheed House: Lady Isabella locked forever at the window. The piano breathes a single chord in the dark. Dead couples turn in an endless, silent waltz.  The city sleeps under neon and snow.  But beneath it… something ancient… is wide awake.
