Commanders Sign Moody, Release Gay

The Washington Commanders have replaced kicker Matt Gay with Jake Moody, who previously made a game-winning field goal against them. Moody, a former Michigan Wolverines standout, was drafted by the 49ers and later by the Bears, where he showed promise. Gay, who had the largest guaranteed money for a kicker in NFL history, struggled with consistency and was released after making only thirteen of nineteen field goals this season.
