Commanders Sign Moody, Kick Gay to Curb
The Washington Commanders have released veteran kicker Matt Gay and signed Jake Moody from the Chicago Bears practice squad. Moody, a former Lou Groza Award winner, had a successful stint with the Bears, converting eight out of nine field goal attempts. The Commanders aim to improve their special teams with this change.
