With the Lakers hearing the devastating news of the injuries to Luka Doncic, keeping him out at least a week, the team spent their first game on the road against the Sacramento Kings, knowing they were without their two top players. And even with the depleted corps, the Lakers, who were out there, came together as Austin Reaves carried the team with a career-making performance (51 points, 11 rebounds, 9 assists) and was backed up by Deandre Ayton's best game as a Laker (22 points, 15 rebounds), the Lakers pulled away late for a 127-120 victory.
