NOTE FROM POOLHOUSE: I began work on this episode over the summer 2025 when I was feeling a bit lost and uncertain. Since finding more clarity of my path forward, I seriously debated whether or not I should even bother to release it. It’s strange. Perhaps, too shrouded in the cosmic. Idk. But I realized in not releasing this mysterious little work of mine, I was keeping myself in trapped in the void in perpetuity. <3

KINOSIS

From “Gnostic Keys to Kinostics” (1955), an old Garbology pamphlet in my private collection:

Kinosis is an exalted state of spiritual transcendence, marked by a temporary or prolonged state of being, in which an individual experiences total integration of body-mind-spirit, realization of the Eternal Now (The Moment), and demonstrates the “aura of kino.”

In the state of kinosis, one finds themselves always knowing where to be and what to say, in command of their dialogue, intuitively responding to natural cues, hitting their marks by always being in the right place at the right time, ready for your CLOSE UP (from “the Balcony” aka the Heavens, which is to say, one is prepared to receive the Divine Gaze).

This experience may be fleeting, but I strive through my practice to achieve the permanent kinostic state, or Pure Kinosis, in which one is bathed from moment to moment in the etheric technicolor glow of THE CINEMA OF EVERYDAY LIFE.
