Oh boy, it's time! I'm finally at the end of The Dark Lord Of Derkholm and I'm really really surprised at the way everything wraps up.
In some ways, I found the ending of this book very satisfying. Everyone is dealt with, everything gets explained, mysteries are revealed...but it's a little bit abrupt, as if Wynne Jones realized she was nearing the page limit on her manuscript and decided that she'd better wrap everything up.
Also, I'm not sure that I'm totally understanding this correctly, but did is the demon that Derk summoned the romantic mate of Chesney's demon? Is this a personal vendetta this demon has?
