Jantz Spalding (Director of Development) and Lisa Hughs (Director of Community Day Services) joined Galesburg’s Morning News to discuss Thrive Community Service’s nearly 70-year legacy empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Key Highlights: • Serving 300+ individuals across Knox County with day programs, employment services, SOAR respite, and the Gordon Behrents Senior Center • Busting the “daycare” myth — Thrive is one of the county’s largest volunteer organizations • 70th Anniversary in 2026 with increased visibility and community storytelling • Howl at the Moon Dueling Pianos – Nov. 7 at The Vault at Reserve Artisan Ales (185 S.
