The Buffalo Sabres were down 4-1 in the 2nd period in Detroit on Saturday night. With the season getting away from them, the Sabres got a much needed comeback win, scoring four unanswered and winning 5-4 in overtime over the Red Wings. Tage Thompson was dominant in the game, having a role in four of the five goals, including throwing Alex DeBrincat to the side as he set up Mattias Samuelsson for the overtime winner.
