Lágrimas del Valle Reposado Review | Single Ranch Tequila Magic

Lágrimas del Valle Reposado Review | Single Ranch Tequila Magic

Published 2 months, 2 weeks ago
Description

Lágrimas del Valle Reposado Review — we’re diving deep into this Single Ranch, Single Vintage tequila from Rancho La Romita in Guanajuato, aged 3 months in ex-bourbon casks and bottled by Altamar Brands. In this video, I sit down with Brandon Cummins, Director of Education at Altamar, to explore how Lágrimas del Valle demonstrates that terroir truly exists in agave.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nose: Cooked agave, caramelized pineapple, warm oak, and floral spice.

  • Taste: Creamy vanilla, pepper, honeyed agave, and minerality.

  • Finish: Long, elegant, with soft oak and lingering spice.

We’ll break down what makes this reposado so different — from the 1,760m elevation of Rancho La Romita to the 37% brix agave, and how its vintage approach captures a moment in the valley.

Watch till the end for my full rating and where I think this stands among the best reposados of 2025!
