In this darkly comedic episode of The Magicians, Coroner Blake Alexander faces an existential crisis—his new assistant Dante Drax is too perfect, too efficient, and possibly too magical. As Blake spirals into boredom and paranoia, interdimensional portals open, paperwork vanishes, and Coldplay plays on repeat. Enter the Necromancer, Blake’s son and part-time reaper, with cryptic clues and letters from hell. Add a masked chicken superhero and a yellow-clad magician named Starlight Knight, and you’ve got a morgue full of mystery, mischief, and melancholy.
