Nebraska football coach Matt Rhule on why the Dylan Raiola narrative is all wrong

Description

We’ve got a special Monday night pod for you. If you’re listening on Tuesday, that’s OK. We’ll be back on Wednesday to return to our normal schedule. For now, we’re still in the mode of reviewing Nebraska’s 30-27 loss on Saturday against Michigan. We heard on Monday from Matt Rhule, who had plenty to say about the Huskers’ mindset to enter the bye week ahead of October.

Rhule discussed the questions that he’s seeing with Nebraska after four games. And he addressed the Dylan Raiola narrative that the Huskers’ sophomore quarterback can do nothing other than look and act like Patrick Mahomes. It is, of course, all quite ridiculous, but it’s become an elephant in the room. So we’re tackling it here, along with Rhule, in this episode. And we finish with a rant about the scoring opportunity – yes, that’s singular – in the opening minutes at Memorial Stadium on Saturday.
