Ca: El vent de tardor feia ballar les fulles als peus d'Oriol mentre creuava la plaça del poble de Figueres.
En: The autumn wind made the leaves dance at Oriol's feet as he crossed the town square in Figueres.
Ca: Era la Castanyada, i el lloc bategava amb l'escalfor dels focs dels rostidors de castanyes.
En: It was Castanyada, and the place was buzzing with the warmth of chestnut roasters' fires.
Ca: Oriol, un nen ple d'imaginació, tenia els ulls brillants amb la promesa del dia.
En: Oriol, a boy full of imagination, had eyes shining with the promise of the day.
Ca: Al seu costat, la Laia, la seva millor amiga, recollia castanyes amb devoció.
En: Beside him, Laia, his best friend, was devotedly collecting chestnuts.
