Story Transcript:

Ro: Frunzele se legănau liniștite în adierea ușoară a toamnei, împodobind Carpații cu nuanțe calde de portocaliu, roșu și auriu.
En: The leaves swayed gently in the soft autumn breeze, adorning the Carpații with warm hues of orange, red, and gold.

Ro: Pe o mică colină, se afla o cabană rustica, cu acoperiș de sindrilă.
En: On a small hill stood a rustic cabin with a shingle roof.

Ro: Aici, Mihai, Ionela și Ștefan, cei trei frați, se întâlneau pentru pregătirile de recoltă.
En: Here, Mihai, Ionela, and Ștefan, the three siblings, gathered for the harvest preparations.

Ro: Mihai, cel mai mare dintre frați, privea impacientat calendarul de pe perete.
En: Mihai, the oldest sibling, looked impatiently at the calendar on the wall.

Ro: "Trebuie să fim gata," gândea el.
En: "We have to be ready," he thought.

Ro: Tradițiile erau importante, iar el simțea mereu presiunea de a continua moștenirea familiei.

Ro: "Ștefan, mezinul, voia să își demonstreze valoarea.
En: Ștefan, the youngest, wanted to prove his worth.

Ro: "Voi face tot ce pot," își spunea el, dorind să ajute cu tot ce era nevoie.
En: "I will do everything I can," he told himself, eager to help in any way needed.

Ro: Atunci când familia s-a adunat în jurul mesei, Mihai a încercat să organizeze munca de a doua zi.
En: When the family gathered around the table, Mihai tried to organize the work for the next day.

Ro: "Ionela," spuse Mihai cu o voce fermă, "ai putea să te concentrezi?
En: "Ionela," said Mihai in a firm voice, "could you focus?"

Ro: "Ionela se uită la el, privind dincolo de ferestre, către vârfurile munților.
En: Ionela looked at him, gazing beyond the windows to the mountain peaks.

Ro: "Mihai, nu vreau să trăiesc toată viața aici," răspunse ea delicat.
En: "Mihai, I don’t want to live my whole life here," she replied gently.

Ro: Ștefan se simțea prins între doi poli.
En: Ștefan felt caught between two poles.

Ro: Voia să protejeze tradițiile, dar și să-și sprijine sora.
En: He wanted to protect traditions but also support his sister.

Ro: "Ionela, putem face și alte lucruri și să fim totodată aproape de familie," încercă el să medieze situația.
En: "Ionela, we can do other things and still be close to family," he tried to mediate the situation.

Ro: Tensiunile creșteau, iar discuțiile păreau că nu avea să se sfârșească ușor.
En: Tensions were rising, and the discussions seemed far from a simple resolution.

Ro: În acea seară, cerul s-a întunecat brusc și o furtună puternică s-a abătut peste munți.
En: That evening, the sky suddenly darkened, and a strong storm descended upon the mountains.

Ro: Rafalele de vânt amenințau recolta la care munciseră atât de mult.
