Sharia Law, Politics, Religious Liberty, and Dearborn MI

Season 6 Episode 41 Published 5 months, 3 weeks ago
Description

This week on The Liberty Action Alert, join Dr. Gregory Seltz and his guest, Mrs. Andrea Unger (Andie)—LCMS member, retired Lutheran educator, and Dearborn resident—as they discuss not only the growing Muslim presence in Dearborn, Hamtramck, and Detroit, but also the increasing influence of Sharia Law perspectives on those city councils. They also examine the growing imposition of Islamic practices on the non-Muslim residents of these neighborhoods.

The issue isn’t whether one can pray publicly; the question is whether someone can amplify their prayers to invade another’s private, personal space. The residents say “no.” The councils are increasingly saying, “When it comes to Muslim times of prayer—YES.”

Listen in for the legal, cultural, and faith perspectives on these vital issues as we continue to grow in the wisdom needed to be 2 Kingdom citizens for the country we love. Join us!
