However, researchers at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre have recently published a study showing that pregnancy and breastfeeding can also help protect against breast cancer. Dr. Nisha Khot, Clinical Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Peninsula Health, explains how this research could help reduce breast cancer rates among Australian women.
