Cs: Podzimní listí šustilo pod nohama lidí shromážděných na Staroměstském náměstí.
En: The autumn leaves rustled under the feet of people gathered at Staroměstské náměstí.

Cs: Vzduch byl chladný, ale atmosféra hřála.
En: The air was chilly, but the atmosphere was warm.

Cs: Svatomartinské slavnosti právě probíhaly, zvuk hudby se mísil s jemným hlukem rozhovorů a vůní pečené husy, která se vznášela ve vzduchu.
En: The Svatomartinské festivities were in full swing, the sound of music mingled with the gentle noise of conversations and the aroma of roasted goose wafting through the air.

Cs: Marek, mladý řemeslník s duší vytesanou z historie Prahy, stál opodál a sledoval hluk kolem sebe.

Cs: A přesto ji Marek čelil s nadějí, že jí nabídne důvod zůstat.
En: And yet, Marek faced her with hope, that he could offer her a reason to stay.

Cs: „Slyšel jsem, že odjíždíš,“ začal.
En: "I heard you’re leaving," he began.

Cs: Jeho hlas byl tichý, ale plný naléhavosti.
En: His voice was quiet but full of urgency.

Cs: „Nechci, abys odjela beze mě.
En: "I don't want you to leave without me.

Cs: Praha není stejná bez tebe.
En: Praha isn't the same without you.

Cs: Co když ti můžu dát dobrodružství přímo tady?
En: What if I can give you adventure right here?"

Cs: “Lenka se odmlčela.
En: Lenka paused.

Cs: „Mám pocit, že tady nemůžu být sama sebou,“ řekla, ale v očích měla střípek nejistoty.
En: "I feel like I can't be myself here," she said, but there was a hint of uncertainty in her eyes.

Cs: „Ale Marek, vždycky jsi mi rozuměl.
