Police say 47-year-old Idaho man Delbert Cornish spent a year planning to kill his children and himself. In August, he carried out part of that plan, fatally shooting his 18-year-old daughter Onyx Cornish, before turning the gun on his 15-year-old son. But when the teen fought back and escaped, the truth of Delbert’s long, calculated murder–suicide plot came to light. Meanwhile, Katie investigates a case across the world in Australia, where 45-year-old Michelle Bodzsar is accused of faking her 6-year-old son’s cancer to scam her community out of more than $20,000. Police say she shaved his head, wrapped him in bandages, and even pushed him in a wheelchair to sell the lie.
