1: The disciples fail to cast out a demon (Lk. 9:37-43a).
2: The disciples fail to understand God’s plan (Lk. 9:43b-45).
3: The disciples fail to put others first (Lk. 9:46-48).
4: The disciples fail to build unity (Lk. 9:349-50).
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
1. Where are you most likely to sense your own inadequacy? How has Jesus shown Himself sufficient?
2. Which of the disciplines mentioned today would you most like to grow in: Dependent prayer, Scripture meditation, Humble service, Kingdom unity?
3. What does it look like to rely on the Spirit within you to grow in these things?
