Counting on the Wrong Thing
Published 11 months, 2 weeks ago
Description
Bible Teacher Dan Slagle explores one of the strangest moments in David’s life in 2 Samuel 24. Here, a simple census reveals a heart drifting from trust in God to pride in self. Through David’s failure and repentance, we’re reminded that the most dangerous moments come when we start “counting” on our own strength instead of God’s. True life and freedom are found when we humble ourselves, surrender control, and choose God’s way over our own.
