Supermom Melissa McKinney Shares Her Adoption From Birth Story

When Taylor and Melissa McKinney found out they couldn’t have children, Melissa was dead set on adopting. Taylor was not on the same page. Then suddenly everything changed when they attended a marriage conference and read the biography of a keynote speaker who just so happened to be on the board of a local adoption agency. After the McKinneys talked with her, Taylor turned to Melissa and said “Let’s do this!” This open adoption was an answer to prayer for everyone involved. Melissa was invited to attend the birth of her son Jalen and even had the opportunity to cut his umbilical cord after delivery. The McKinney’s just finalized the paperwork for their second adoption with Faithful Adoption Consultants and are raising funds to help bring their next baby home!
