Story Transcript:

Cy: Ar ôl wythnos hir o waith, roedd Dafydd a Carys yn barod am ymlacio ac archwilio.
En: After a long week of work, Dafydd and Carys were ready to relax and explore.

Cy: Cawsant eu llygaid ar arfordir drawiadol Sir Benfro, lle mae'r clogwyni uchel yn cwrdd â'r môr eang.
En: They had set their sights on the stunning coast of Sir Benfro, where high cliffs meet the wide sea.

Cy: Roeddent yn cydnabod bod yr hydref yn dod â'i swyn ei hun, gan droi'r coed i liwiau aur a choch, mewn cyferbyniad hyfryd â'r cefnfor glas.
En: They appreciated that autumn brought its own charm, turning the trees to shades of gold and red, in a beautiful contrast with the blue ocean.

Cy: Cyrhaeddasant eu bwthyn bach ar nos Wener, yn gyffrous i ddechrau eu penwythnos.
En: They arrived at their small cottage on Friday night, excited to start their weekend.

Cy: Goleuodd Carys ganhwyllau o amgylch y lle tra bod Dafydd, bob amser y ffotograffydd brwd, eisiau gweld y môr cyn gynted â phosib.
En: Carys lit candles around the place while Dafydd, always the keen photographer, wanted to see the sea as soon as possible.

Cy: Roedd y tywydd yn newid yn sydyn yr hydref yma, felly roeddynt yn gwybod bod angen manteisio ar bob cyfle.
En: The weather changed suddenly in the autumn here, so they knew they had to take advantage of every opportunity.

Cy: "Bore fory," meddai Dafydd, "mi â ni i bennau’r llwybrau uwchben y clogwyni."
En: "Tomorrow morning," said Dafydd, "we’ll go to the cliff-top paths."

Cy: "Bydd hi'n wych," atebodd Carys, "ond paid ag anghofio y gall yr hydref fod yn slei, ac edrycha am yr hinsawdd."
En: "It’ll be great," replied Carys, "but don’t forget that autumn can be sneaky, and keep an eye on the weather."

Cy: Cododd y dydd Sadwrn gyda chysgod o gymylau duon, ond roedd Dafydd yn obeithiol am y bore.
En: Saturday dawned with a shadow of dark clouds, but Dafydd was hopeful for the morning.

Cy: Ni fyddai cymylau'n eu rhwystro.
En: Clouds wouldn’t stop them.

Cy: Wrth iddynt gyrraedd pen y llwybr, cychwynnodd y gwynt i chwythu'n gryf.
En: As they reached the trailhead, the wind began to blow strongly.

Cy: Ond roedd y golygfeydd yn hynod, y môr yn brosi'n erbyn y clogwyni garw, tra bod gŵydd hydref yn liwio'r awyr.
En: But the views were exceptional, the sea crashing against the rugged cliffs, while autumn hues colored the sky.

Cy: "Mae'n brydferth," meddai Carys, "er y cawod. Edrycha fel cyfle perffaith i ddal delwedd."
En: "It’s beautiful," said Carys, "despite the shower. It looks like a perfect opportunity to capture an image."

Cy: Ond ar y foment yna, gwelodd Dafydd y cymylu'n cryfhau, gan ddwyn glaw trwm a gwyntoedd cryfion gyda nhw.
En: But at that moment, Dafydd saw the clouds intensify, bringing heavy rain and strong winds with them.

Cy: Ceisiodd gael y darlun, ond roedd yr elfennau'n ddanghyd.
En: He attempted to get the picture, but the elements were relentless.

Cy: Sefyllodd nhw i geisio cymorth dan graig fawr, yn rhannu mwg ac yn aros i'r storm basio.
En: They took refuge under a large rock, sharing warmth and waiting for the storm to pass.

Cy: "Dwi ddim yn gwybod a fyddai'n cael y llun," meddai Dafydd, yn edrych ar y cawod.
En: "I don’t know if I’ll get the shot," said Dafydd, looking at the rain.

Cy: Cynigiodd Carys iddyn nhw lynu ychydig yn hwy, ac aethant ymlaen i ddisgwyl.
En: Carys suggested th
