It’s not great times in non-conference scheduling in college football, as we’ve seen future games between Power 4 teams scrapped for games against lesser foes---including Nebraska getting out of the Tennessee series 

Yesterday, Notre Dame and Auburn announced a home-and-home series in 2027 and 2028…the first time the programs will have ever played each other. Will this be an outlier or will schools get back to having good matchups again?
