Sk: Les oslavoval svoje farebné krásy, ako sa menil od zelenej po jantárovú a karmínovú.
En: The forest celebrated its colorful beauty, as it changed from green to amber and crimson.
Sk: Vysoké Tatry, neprebádané a tajomné, schovávali mnoho prírodných pokladov.
En: The High Tatras, unexplored and mysterious, hid many natural treasures.
Sk: Pätnásťročný Marek kráčal vzrušene po chodníku.
En: Fifteen-year-old Marek walked excitedly along the path.
Sk: Miloval botaniku a dnes bol jeho deň.
En: He loved botany, and today was his day.
Sk: Blížili sa Dušičky, sviatok, keď sa na cintorínoch rozblikajú sviečky.

En: "Listen, Marek," replied Jozef, "if we don't find it quickly, we'll be late for the meeting with the class.
Sk: Vieš, že je to dôležité.“
En: You know it's important."
