Is it possible that the religion of Yahweh has an entirely different origin and history than that of the Hebrew God, El? Is it possible that Christianity continues the tradition of the religion of Yahweh and not of El? And is it possible that monotheism was not an original component of Hebrew religion, but was rather adopted from foreign influence.
