Later, on a squirrel hunt, pine limbs were violently thrown at him before a deafening scream erupted — a roar so powerful he felt it vibrate through his entire body like an electric current. James also recalls a driver who claimed to have hit a creature that stood up on two legs and ran away, trees crashing with no wind while fishing, a 10-pound rock thrown at a boat, and a chilling moment when a voice from deep in the forest called out his friend’s name. Now convinced that Sasquatch in the bayou is intelligent, territorial, and dangerous, James opens up about encounters his family didn’t believe — but that he will never forget.
