Description
The Red Treehouse is dedicated to my Dad, I love you, Pop.

Join me in The Red Treehouse as I read a terrific short horror story, The Cold Embrace, written by Mary Elizabeth Braddon.
The story tells of two cousins, Getrude and an unnamed young student, who pledge their love for one another. Until, the student turns from his love and she makes a fateful decision--one that would have eternal consequences.
So sit back, turn down the lights, pull up the covers, and pay close attention as I read The Cold Embrace.
