One of wrestling’s busiest, and possibly its most eventful, weekends of the year is here, and we are locked in! WWE’s Friday Night Smackdown went down last night. Find out what our crew thinks about Jelly Roll’s possible in-ring debut at SummerSlam, why The Street Profits losing the tag team belts to The Wyatt Sicks was a major disappointment, but also makes for a fresh set of matches in that division.
As for this weekend, hear arguments for and against Bill Goldberg defeating Gunther in what could be his very last match. We also discuss if LA Knight’s recent hit streak is enough to carry him to victory over one of the greatest competitors right now, Seth “Freakin” Rollins.
When it comes to the all-female PLE “Evolution,” we are all in as well. The ROWP fans think Rhea Ripley is primed for another title run, while Becky Lynch should retain in her match. There’s a wildcard though: Naomi. Listen up as to whether we think it’s time for her to cash in that “Money In The Bank” briefcase.
