Uk: Дмитро стояв біля вікна, дивлячись на прикрашений дворик під багатоквартирним будинком, де оселилася його сім'я.
En: Dmytro stood by the window, looking at the decorated courtyard beneath the apartment building where his family had settled.

Uk: Все навколо було новим і чужим: гарна громада за воротами, величні будинки, незнайомі обличчя.
En: Everything around was new and foreign: the beautiful community beyond the gates, the majestic houses, the unfamiliar faces.

Uk: Вечірка на Геловін, що мала відбутися в сусідському клубі, мала стати його шансом постати частиною тутешнього життя.
