Nl: Het was een koele herfstavond in Amsterdam.
En: It was a cool autumn evening in Amsterdam.

Nl: De zon begon onder te gaan en de lucht kleurde oranje en roze.
En: The sun began to set and the sky turned orange and pink.

Nl: Het geluid van lachende kinderen vulde de lucht op de speelplaats van de gated community.
En: The sound of laughing children filled the air in the playground of the gated community.

Nl: Overal hingen oranje en zwarte slingers, en de bomen waren versierd met papieren spookjes.
En: Orange and black streamers hung everywhere, and the trees were decorated with paper ghosts.
