Nineteen-year-old Brazilian student Arthur Santos Macedo has called Perth home for most of his life. He moved to Australia with his parents and sister when he was nine. More than a decade later, his family is still waiting for permanent residency, having lived on a bridging visa C for over five years. Recently, Arthur attended an anti-immigration rally in Perth, where he was allegedly assaulted.
