Not long after the Nez Perce Tribe began recovery efforts for gray wolves in Idaho - which had been reintroduced from Canada - wildlife biologist Jim Holyan joined the team responsible for monitoring and tracking the wolves' progress. Along the way, he made lifelong connections and shared stories around many campfires.
