Sl: V jutro, ko sta se Jure in Nina peljala z dvigalom v najvišje nadstropje ljubljanskega nebotičnika, je bil zrak poln pričakovanja.
En: On the morning when Jure and Nina rode the elevator to the top floor of the ljubljanskega skyscraper, the air was full of anticipation.
Sl: Ljubljanska jesen je bila v polnem razcvetu, listje je bilo živobarvno in vonj po bučni juhi in toplem kostanju je napolnjeval ulice.
En: Ljubljanska autumn was in full bloom, the leaves were vividly colored, and the smell of pumpkin soup and roasted chestnuts filled the streets.
Sl: Bila je noč čarovnic, in nebo je bilo posuto z zvezdami.
En: It was Halloween, and the sky was scattered with stars.
Sl: Oba sta bila polna energije, predvsem Jure, ki je bil znan po svojih norčijah in ljubezni do noči čarovnic.
En: Both were full of energy, especially Jure, who was known for his antics and love for Halloween.

Sl: "Ni pa bilo smešno Nini.
En: Nina didn't find it funny.
Sl: Veliko je imela raje prostorna mesta kot košare dvigal.
En: She much preferred open spaces to the confines of elevators.
Sl: "Oh, ne, zataknila sva se," je dejala z rahlim strahom v glasu.
En: "Oh no, we're stuck," she said with a slight tremor in her voice.
Sl: Jure je preveril svoj telefon.
En: Jure checked his phone.
Sl: "Ni signala," je dejal in se nasmehnil, kot bi bil to del njegovih načrtov.
En: "No signal," he said, smiling as if this was part of his plan.
Sl: "No, mogoče bi nekdo moral uporabiti tisto staro, a zagotovo uporabno telefonsko napravo tam," je Nina pokazala na rdečo škatlo na zidu.
En: "Well, maybe someone should use that old yet surely useful telephone device there," Nina pointed to the red box on the wall.

En: On the other side, Matej, the friendly caretaker with big dreams, answered eagerly.
Sl: "Pozdravljeni, tu Matej!
En: "Hello, Matej here!
Sl: Kako lahko pomagam?
En: How can I help?"
Sl: "Jure in Nina sta hitro razložila svojo težavo.
En: Jure and Nina quickly explained their predicament.
Sl: Matej je bil vzhičen: "To je prilo
