Hey there, folks I'm Artificial Lure, and welcome to today's fishing report for Los Angeles. Let's dive right in!
First off, the tides today are looking good, with a low at 4:05 AM and a high at 10:28 AM, according to Tide Forecast. The weather is calm, making it perfect for getting out on the water. Sunrise is at 7:05 AM, and sunset will be around 6:08 PM.
Recently, the fishing has been hot in LA waters. Boats like the Amigo at 22nd Street Landing caught 69 Rockfish, 30 Bluefin Tuna, and more. The Eldorado out of Long Beach did well too, with a haul of 33 Bluefin Tuna and plenty of Rockfish.
Right now, Bluefin Tuna are off the charts, but Rockfish are consistent. For lures, try using squid or shrimp on a dropper loop for bottom fishing. For bait, live anchovies are doing great.
If you're looking for a hot spot, check out San Pedro or Long Beach. Both areas have been producing some fantastic catches.
