AI is imperfect, so why are we relying on it so much? A kid recently got manhandled by the police. Why? The AI detector he walked through at school detected he had a gun in his bag. The gun turned out to be a bag of doritos. Why not use a metal detector? On the lighter side of things, Starbucks wants to use AI to guess your drink order. Which will be great and save on time if you're one of those that has 18 different line items in your drink order. So, this is sort of a boo/yay type of situation for AI.
