1-I had a rough day yesterday looking at what happened on our streets, especially Montreal - Concordia having to be closed, couldn’t guarantee safety of some students - bomb threats, marches in the evening in Toronto - October 7 was bound to heavy, anyway - we’re a long way, it feels from a society that respects each other - even when our views are different, yes?

2-We had heard about this earlier in the day - O Canada played in Arabic during a student-run and organized morning announcements - had never been done before…..people can awfully territorial and pejorative about the anthem - but it’s still Canada, and almost everyone would admit it needs to be in English or French at a school - what’s your reaction to the story?
