“The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.” The Word—Jesus—stepped out of heaven and into humanity to redeem us. But to take our place, He had to be sinless. He had to be God. Romans 6:23 reminds us, “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
