In a wide ranging interview, Boris Johnson praises Donald Trump's recent remarks at the UN and points to the success of Ukrainian forces in damaging Russian infrastructure, suggesting the scales have finally fallen from Trump's eyes. He also warms that Labour is driving Britain into decline, saying: “We have got unemployment rising again. We have got long-term interest rates. We've got yields on British government debt at a 30-year high. Plus he defends his record on immigration, and when asked if the Conservatives should strike a deal with Nigel Farage, Mr Johnson dismissed the idea out of hand, declaring: “The answers to this country’s problems are going to be Conservative answers.”
