Temperino Automobili's Electric Renaissance
Description
The historic Italian automotive brand, S.A. Temperino, active in Turin from 1906 to 1924, is being reborn as Temperino Automobili S.r.l., a modern electric vehicle (EV) company. Spearheaded by Marco and Paolo Temperino, the great-grandchildren of the original founders, the new venture aims to honor the brand's legacy of producing small, agile, and accessible vehicles by applying this philosophy to the contemporary urban mobility market. The company will focus on producing electric quadricycles, targeting a broad demographic, including young drivers from the age of 14. Two initial models are planned: the Temperino 8-10 HP, a direct homage to a historic 1919 model, and a sportier Temperino GT. The project is set for an official presentation at the "Parco Valentino" event in Turin in September, with a production target slated for the second half of 2024. The new company's mission is to create "electric cars for everyone," positioning itself as a provider of practical and stylish solutions for city traffic.
