Kim Poyner is a practice nurse, health coach and previously an ICU nurse.  She is the Founder of MediCoach, winner of the 2015 APNA Best Practice Award in Nursing for Chronic Disease Management, and presenter of Care Co-ordination, Care Planning and Coaching in General Practice. This is an episode I suggest you listen to many times as Kim shares some absolute pearls of wisdom about helping patients on their health journey.  Today we discuss:

-What is health coaching?

- What is the evidence base?

- Some myths and facts about behaviour change

- How do we help people "not ready" to change

- A range of clinical pearls and tips on behaviour change

- Resources

She has no conflicts of interest to declare outside of being the Founder of MediCoach.
