He: בסמטאות הצפופות של שוק הכרמל תל אביב, ריח תבלינים ועושר של צבעים חשמלו את האוויר.
En: In the crowded alleys of Shuk HaCarmel in Tel Aviv, the scent of spices and the richness of colors electrified the air.
He: נועה, עם עיניים בורקות ונחישות בשפתיה, תרה אחר המצרכים המושלמים לארוחת החג של סוכות.
En: Noa, with sparkling eyes and determination on her lips, was searching for the perfect ingredients for the holiday meal of Sukkot.
He: איתי, אחיה, פסע לצידה, עינו במוצרים אבל מוחו כבר דמיין את טעם הארוחה הביתית.
En: Itay, her brother, walked beside her, his eyes on the products but his mind already imagining the taste of the homemade meal.
He: "נועה, את בטוחה שאנחנו צריכים לחפש עוד?
En: "Noa, are you sure we need to look for more?"

En: "No, Itay," Noa replied enthusiastically, "I have to choose the best.
He: בוא, זה שוק הכרמל, ולא השוק השכונתי שלנו.
En: Come on, this is Shuk HaCarmel, not our neighborhood market."
He: "הם נעצרו ליד דוכן ירקות בו צעדה נועה לאורך הירקות הבוהקים, חיפשה עגבניות כמותן לא ראתה בשום מקום אחר.
En: They stopped by a vegetable stand where Noa walked along the shiny vegetables, looking for tomatoes like she had seen nowhere else.
He: התחושה הפנימית שלה דרשה שלמות, אפילו אם זה ייקח עוד שעה.
En: Her inner feeling demanded perfection, even if it took another hour.

En: Noa glanced over and her eyes lit up.
He: "רימונים?
En: "Pomegranates?

En: But they weren't on my list."

En: "And yet," the old man smiled understandingly, "sometimes that's what it takes to surprise everyone."

En: Noa took a deep breath and realized she should let go of some of her expected demands.

En: She bought the pomegranates and then turned to Itay with a smile on her face.
