38 Our Exiles Carry Heavy Burdens That Others Will Not Touch

Published 11 months, 3 weeks ago
Description

In today’s Gospel reading, Jesus chastises the Pharisees for imposing “burdens that are hard to carry” on the people but not “lifting one finger to touch them.” Our reflection for today applies these verses inside of us and reminds us that Jesus does not treat our inner outcasts in the way the Pharisees would have. Memorial of St. Theresa of Avila
