Story Transcript:
Cy: Yng nghanol lliwiau’r Hydref ac awyrgylch dirgel Parc Cenedlaethol Bannau Brycheiniog, roedd Gwenllian a Emrys yn sefyll wrth eu gilydd.
En: Amid the autumn colors and the mysterious atmosphere of Parc Cenedlaethol Bannau Brycheiniog, Gwenllian and Emrys stood together.
Cy: Daethant o hyd i hen fap yn cuddio mewn llyfr yn hen lyfrgell y pentref.
En: They had found an old map hidden in a book in the old village library.
Cy: Roedd yn addo antur, ond hefyd sibrwd o beryglon.
En: It promised adventure but also whispered of dangers.
Cy: Roedd Gwenllian ag awydd rhyfygus i ddarganfod ei chyfrinachau, tra bod Emrys yn poeni am y llwybrau cyfeiliornus a'r niwed posib i'r tir.
En: Gwenllian had a daring desire to uncover its secrets, while Emrys worried about the misleading paths and potential damage to the land.
Cy: "Paid â phoeni, Emrys," meddyliodd Gwenllian tra'n cefnstopio ei bag ar ei chefn.
En: “Don’t worry, Emrys,” thought Gwenllian while fastening her bag on her back.
Cy: "Dywched hwn yn fodd i ddianc unwaith ac am byth o gafael diflastod y dref fach."
En: “This is a way to escape once and for all from the grip of the little town’s dullness.”
Cy: Roedd ei llygaid yn disgleirio wrth iddi ychwanegu, "Mae’r map hwn yn arwain at rywbeth mawr."
En: Her eyes sparkled as she added, “This map leads to something great.”
Cy: Aethon nhw drwy goedwig dwyllodrus gyda chochni’r dail yn cwmpasu’u erthyligion a chweryn cwthwll yn yr adarf.
En: They went through a deceptive forest with the red of the leaves covering their footprints and birds chirping in the canopy.
Cy: Roedd dipyn o oerfel yn yr aer, a llais y gwynt yn ymestyn rhwng canghennau.
En: There was a chill in the air, and the voice of the wind stretched between branches.
Cy: "Rwy’n parchu’r tir, Gwenllian," dywedodd Emrys a’i lais yn llawn o bryder, "ond, rhaid i ni fod yn ofalus.
En: “I respect the land, Gwenllian,” said Emrys with a voice full of concern, “but we must be careful.
Cy: Mae'r llwybrau yn gallu'n camarwain."
En: The paths can mislead us.”
Cy: Ond roedd Gwenllian yn benderfynol.
En: But Gwenllian was determined.
Cy: "Dilyn fy nghalon yw fy synnwyr," dywedodd hi a thanio fflam o gysur i Emrys.
En: “Following my heart is my guide,” she said, kindling a flame of comfort for Emrys.
Cy: Cerddasant am oriau, troi bob pennod wrth gynnal yr edau denau o ddefnyddio’r map i’w harwain hyd nes iddynt ganfod eu hunain ymhlith cysgodion coed tal yn arwain at ogof ddirgel.
En: They walked for hours, turning each corner by maintaining the thin thread of using the map to guide them until they found themselves among the shadows of tall trees leading to a hidden cave.
Cy: Wrth iddynt nesáu, glanogwyd gan ffigwr niwlog: gwarchodwr dirgrynol gyda llais cryf a haul ar ei ben.
En: As they approached, they were greeted by a misty figure: a vibrating guardian with a strong voice and sunlight upon its head.
Cy: "Mae’n hen amser i chi ddod yma," sibryddodd y ffigwr.
En: “It’s high time you arrived here,” whispered the figure.
Cy: Roedd ei lygaid yn tywynnu a’i llais yn gefnu’r awel.
En: Its eyes shone and its voice backed the breeze.
Cy: "Ydw i mor anghywir?" gofynnodd Emrys gan dagu â thensiwn.
En: “Am I so wrong?” asked Emrys, choking on tension.
Cy: Sut gallent ymddiried mewn ffigwr cythryblus o dan orchudd y llewod.
